From My Kitchen
This is one of those incredibly simple sides that looks like you put much more effort into it than you actually did.
Sweet Hawaiian rolls are stuffed with mozzarella, covered in garlic butter and fresh parsley, then baked just long enough for the cheese to melt and the tops to turn golden.
They're quick enough for a weeknight dinner but especially good when you're feeding a crowd.
Ingredients
1 package (12-count) Hawaiian sweet rolls
2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
½ cup (1 stick) salted butter, melted
1–2 tablespoons fresh parsley, finely chopped
½ teaspoon garlic salt, or to taste
Instructions
Preheat oven to 400°F.
Prepare the Rolls:
Place Hawaiian rolls together in a baking dish. Carefully cut a small opening or cross into the top of each roll without cutting completely through the bottom.
Add Cheese
Stuff shredded mozzarella into the openings of the rolls. Sprinkle remaining cheese over the top.
Make Garlic Butter
Combine melted butter, fresh chopped parsley and garlic salt.
Brush
Generously spoon or brush the garlic butter over the rolls, allowing some to run between and inside them.
Bake
Bake at 400°F for 10–12 minutes, until the mozzarella is melted and bubbly and the rolls are warm and golden. Serve immediately.
Shannon's Kitchen Tip
Don't slice completely through the rolls. Leaving the bottoms connected makes them easy to stuff and creates warm, cheesy pull-apart bread.
Be generous with the garlic butter and let some run down between the rolls.
What to Serve With It

Tomato soup
